The Centennial Edition of Dipsea, The Greatest Race was released in August 2010 and is a must for everyone who cares about the race. Written by official Dipsea Race historian Barry Spitz, it tells the stories of each of the 100 Dipsea races, 1905 through 2010. Features of the book include:

  • Hardcover, 280 pages;
  • More than 100 photographs, most never before published and many in color;
  • Deeper annual results than in the original 1993 edition, including 100-deep for 2010;
  • Fully updated and revised statistical tables;
  • Detailed description and maps of the course;
  • An index with well over 1,000 names (possibly yours!)
Only 1,500 copies of the book were printed. Of these, 450 (same as the finish cutoff for the Invitational Section) are hand-numbered. The author will autograph all copies and add, if requested, a personal inscription. Both numbered and unnumbered copies remain, but order soon to insure a copy!
